Android auto bestaat wel degelijk in België. De Seat Arona die ik een paar weken geleden heb getest had dit ook, dus lijkt me sterk dat een nieuwe vw dit niet heeft

Werkt Android Auto via bluetooth of via USB-kabelttje?  Of zijn beide mogelijk?

volgens mij is het enkel bekabeld mogelijk. Je kan wel zorgen dat Android Auto opent vanaf het moment dat je bent verbonden met de Bluetooth van je wagen. Maar dan staat het nog niet op je scherm van je wagen

even terug komen op mijn vorige post. Blijkbaar hebben de auto's het wel maar blokkeert Google de app zelf in België.

Altijd al via APKMIRROR geïnstalleerd, nooit problemen gehad. Inderdaad niet 'beschikbaar' in België via Google play.

Het is niet om hier paniek te zaaien want ik denk dat er voorlopig toch nog altijd meer dan een miljard (one billion) dagelijkse actieve gebruikers zijn van Android. Maar het is wel iets om toch rekening mee te houden: Is Google nog betrouwbaar? Google’s constant product shutdowns are damaging its brand.

 

Waze's features are slowly being moved over to Google Maps. Is that a bad sign? (Android) Wear OS is basically in last place in the smartwatch wars. Nest doesn't make a profit and recently was stripped of its Google independence. Google's Fuchsia OS is staring down an expensive multi-year development cycle, and the supposed plan to replace Android will be a steep uphill battle. How confident are you that all of these products will be around in a few years?

 

Every time Google shuts down a product, its reputation is harmed. A shutdown makes users feel betrayed, it makes trusting other Google services harder, and it makes it harder for Google to pitch new products to users. With so many shutdowns happening lately, I've got to wonder if Google users will start to seek similar services from companies that simply seem more stable.

waarom het niet door Google werd ondersteund toen ik het door een apk-bestand sideload van apknite of elders terwijl het van Google LLC is?

Google weet waar u zich bevind (of beter, in welk land uw toestel werd geregistreerd), op die manier kunnen ze dat filteren in hun Play Store als het betreffende land niet ondersteund is (zie enkele posts hierboven).

En Google zal ook wel weten of een sideload doet of niet dus... sideload = ding ding alarm niet van de Play Store, loaction = ding ding alarm geen land met vrijgave --> geen ondersteuning.

En België staat niet in de lijst...
